YTCatch does not require an account or provide a personal download history. This page describes the current version of the tool.

## When you submit a link

Your video ID and selected format are sent through our server to a third-party conversion service on RapidAPI. That service retrieves and prepares the media. We do not send it your YouTube password or account cookies.

## When you view or save a result

Thumbnails load from YouTube’s image service. Download links open the conversion provider’s file server. Those services receive your IP address and normal browser request information when you access them, and apply their own policies.

## Service limits

We maintain request counters to protect the shared download allowance. When deployed on Cloudflare, a monthly salted hash of the connecting IP address is used for short-window request limits. It is not a user account. Hosting and API providers may separately maintain operational logs.

## Cookies and analytics

This version does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Browser storage is not used to keep submitted links or download history. Infrastructure providers may use their own necessary service mechanisms.

## Content and access

Do not submit private credentials or sensitive video URLs. YTCatch is intended for public content you are entitled to save. Third-party services control their own retention and availability.
